The impression illustrated here differs in several ways from the image published in the book. The differences are most evident in the expression on the man's face and the shading on his upper body and arms. The background, however, appears identical. An impression at the Instituto de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca (IAGO) more closely resembles the image in the book.
Some copies of the book have areas of red ink added to the vegetation in the upper areas of the image.
