Commentary:  This print, criticizing the Marshall Plan as a tool of the Cold War, was created for a filmstrip published by the John Henry and Mary Louisa Dunn Bryant Foundation, Los Angeles. The filmstrip was intended for U.S. audiences and contained 59 illustrations by members of the Taller de Gráfica Popular and a script to be read as the filmstrip was advanced. The filmstrip title is sometimes rendered as ¿Quienes quieren la guerra, quienes quieren la paz? (Peter Schneider)

This image appears in frame 12. The English version reads: “Western Europe, in the midst of an economic crisis, is being swamped with a top-heavy load of munitions.”
