Commentary:  Paul Robeson was an African American concert singer, actor and activist who was persecuted by the United States government for his communist beliefs. Under the guidance of African American member Elizabeth Catlett, the TGP created a series called Against Discrimination in the U.S. Here Robeson holds a dove, with a broken chain above him, expressing the concepts of freedom and peace.
