Cataloging note: Méndez made five woodcut illustrations for La corola invertida (The Inverted Corola), 1930, a poetic text by María del Mar. Although not documented, it is likely that Méndez also cut the display text on the cover and the author's monogram on the back cover. The five illustrations are:

2. Mendigos

3.  A la guerra, a la guerra

4. El globo

5. Rumba
